A bedroom with a modern theme means there can be no half measures in its application. A style which relies heavily on structure and form and a significant use of space needs only one or two strong elements to enforce it. 

Stylish storage systems will help to emphasize the theme by preventing inappropriate belongings from upsetting the balance, while flooring can make a positive contribution to the design; use sympathetic colours, textures and finishes, or combine materials, such as wooden boards or even cement, polished to a marble finish, with rugs to soften the effect.

The fireplace surround has been clad in reflective beaten metal, which gives the room another dimension. The overall effect is stylish, the minimum of possessions creating the maximum effect.
