The Relationship Between Different Rooms

Whether we are decorating just one room or all the house we must not forget that rooms are related to each other; they do not exist in a vacuum and must have a common idea linking them together. Good space management Inside the home will make it more comfortable for Its inhabitants.

The Relationship Between Different Rooms

If we are renovating a space that has already been used in the past—lets say With uses already assigned to It - we must question why things are the way they are. Habits and lifestyles change, and  interior decoration must follow suit. We have to find the right balance between size, function, and intensity with which a room is used.

There are a few basic rules related to the room layout in a home: the dining area be close to the kitchen: the sleeping area be near the bathroom and as far away from the circulation zones and nose. There are a variety of ways of creating new rooms or spaces. We must choose what fits in with where we live and how we live. Rearranging internal walls the most common.

Sliding doors or curtains, or even the furniture, can divide off spaces in a permeable way. A sofa and two armchairs will form a living room without internal walls being put up. A carpet on the floor finishes marking off the boundaries between two zones with different uses. Although there are people who prefer long passage, internal walls are now often considered to use up valuable space in Interior design and more homeowners are beginning to prefer open-plan spaces.

The Relationship Between Different Rooms

Sometimes when decorating we will be confronted with spaces that are tepid or stark because of the bare walls. Ledges, corbels. or wood shelves will give a little comfortable casualness to the room. Decorating a ceiling roses, with architectural elements like cornices or ceiling roses, which can be added afterward, also help to give character to a room,

Mirrors are one of the decoration's classical recourses. Modern trends in interior design have changed quite substantially in the way they are used: they no longer cover up whole walls or hide away architectural features such as columns. However; they still give us the possibility of making space feel bigger. Mirrors. usually hung like pictures, reflect the spaciousness of the room.

One way of making odd shapes or features less obvious is to add new elements that create symmetrical patterns. They also help to neaten an untidy ambience. Abundant horizontal lines in an area give a relaxed youthful, and modern feel to space. The predomination of vertical lines makes space seem more classical and austere; they are suitable for a reception room. Curved lines make the inhabitants feel good but must be used sparingly because they can cause feelings of vulnerability.
